We had a really quick (but awesome) Mother's day weekend. I worked on Saturday so we drove down to Delta that afternoon to spend the night with my parents and Conlan:) We had a delicious dinner that I feel bad my mom made us on her Mother's day weekend! But I hope we made it a fun weekend for you:) And then we just played outside in the PERFECT weather. Love hanging out with the fam:)
| Happy Mother's day MOM! I love you so much and you are such an amazing example to me! |

| I don't know who, out of the dogs and my brother, wore eachother out more?? |
These two!+ Babe town USA

Tom and Jade did an awesome job spoiling me this mother's day...he got me this dress, belt, watch (I'll pretend he picked those out), an Amazon gift card and my all time favorite...a great card:) Thank you so much babe. Words cannot express how much I love you and am grateful to be a mom to this little lady:) She is such a fun, spunky, energetic and beautiful little girl. Being a mom has definitely been the most challenging, crazy, rewarding, fun and happy time of my life!We are both soo grateful for our mom's and for everything they have done for us. Now that we are parents, we appreciate it more than ever. I know we are new parents and only have an inkling of an understanding of everything they have done for us to raise us right, but we hope we can someday come close to being the type of parents we have.
We gave both of our mom's a really pretty watch that they each got to pick out and Tom was right on both for which he thought they would pick! I wish I would have gotten a picture of them:(
Sunday we went up to Michelle's for the day! We had a BBQ, and hung out with Grandma and Grandpa Probst, Michelle and Larry, and Kimberlie and Jonathon
Michelle gave Jade this adorable yellow romper and headband so of course we had to have her model it! Michelle also gave me a really cute plaque that says "I never knew how much love my heart could hold 'til someone called me mommy" I love it. So thoughtful!
Jade also LOVES Michelle's play room!
MMMMMMM.....steak
And it was soooo great to talk to Sister Styler!! She is doing awesome and it was so fun to hear her voice and catch up with her. She is truly an incredible missionary. She is already having tons of success and having lots of crazy experiences! We love her letters and are thankful for her example to us! Can't wait til Christmas to talk to her again!
Then we headed home that night and Jade was practicing her stretches:) Her and the dogs were pooped after the weekend
So we got her in her pj's and ready for bed:)
So the funny and true story about this T-shirt she is wearing: Tom found this shirt on the side of the road in the gutter while he was on his mission in Texas. And then he sent it to me on a teddy bear (I think for Valentines Day 2005)! Who knew that one day our daughter would be wearing it?!
From a frilly yellow romper...to a Led Zeppelin shirt...all in a day's work for this gal
Now some random pictures over the last few weeks...
So Jade really likes Mickey and Minnie mouse! She even knows their names and has to be holding both when watching Mickey on TV
And sporting her Minnie shirt and holding Mickey while getting a bite of ice cream from dad before bed :) naughty naughty...
She also loves the dogs~ she is always looking for them if they aren't in the room. This is her petting smacking Jovi and saying dog gog:)
She can also say: Hi, ba-bye, cool, toys, shoes, whee!, ball, mama, dada, yuck and go-go-go! She is constantly jabbering these days!
And she is still an outdoors-aholic. We go on a walk, play in the backyard and possibly a bike ride on the daily:) Tom and I finally took our bikes out the other day together and it was fun! The first of many I hope
Favorite indoor hobby is her toys and books and especially climbing into her toy buckets to sit and enjoy them
Last friday we went to dinner with, and had the Jone's over to hang out after and these were some cute pics of that night

These last few were a couple weeks ago...Dad has a good, comfortable method for swinging her:)
We sure love this little cheeser and couldn't imagine our lives without her!
