The weekend and Gregg's birthday

 On Thursday Brittany and I took our kids to the park and Jade was just soaking it up!  She is still obsessed with being outside!  And I'm ok with that because I am also the happiest when I'm outside too.  She now really loves going down slides to and is quite the little miss independent.

 After her bath that night, while I was lotion-ing her, she was just cracking herself up and going crazy!  Hence all the baby lotion on the mirror.  It was soooo cute and hilarious

 She understands what 'milk' and 'snack' mean  She can now say ball really well and loves to play with any and all of them! 

This pic is random and I look terrible, but she was just the cutest and cuddliest I have ever seen her after her nap.  We all know she is too busy to ever just cuddle so I had to document

I didn't take any pictures of Friday night and I wish I did because it was so fun!  First we went to dinner at Ruby River steakhouse with Tom's dad and Kimberlie and Jonathon.  And it was so delicious and good to catch up with them.
Then on our way home we met up with the Fowlers, Bunkers, and Jones at the park and played some tennis!  It was really fun and hopefully we make it a regular thing!  It was so nice because we had all 6 courts to ourselves most of the time so we could just let the little ones run and play together

Saturday night after I got home from work, we had the first BBQ of the season with the same group at the Bunkers!  This is the only picture I got of that night.. Fail...
We had a blast but headed home a little early to get Jade to bed who had been grumpy for the past couple days with a fever/ little virus and getting 2 more teeth.  (Which are still not through yet).  It breaks my heart when she is grumpy and miserable and I feel helpless!  She is thankfully doing much better now.

 Sunday evening after church we headed up to West Valley because Sharice invited the family up to her house for dinner and a surprise party for Gregg!  It was a lot of fun!  Thank you Sharice and Gregg for having us!  Jade couldn't get enough of the enchilada's!  It was so nice and I was so proud of her!  Any of you that know her, know that eating is probably her least favorite thing to do

 Happy birthday Gregg!  We love you and are so glad you are part of the family!

 We are pretty darn lucky to have so many family and friends so close!  I wish all our family and friends lived near us!! Grateful..

7 YEARS!!!

 Happy Anniversary to us!  I seriously cannot believe it's been 7 years...crazy!  I love you more everyday babe!  We went on a little date to the temple and it was great:)

 And I guess you could call this our anniversary present...we got a new truck!  We Tom is in love:)  I'm so happy for him to finally have a vehicle he loves and is proud of!  He definitely deserves it.  I love it too and makes me so excited to go camping in and will perfectly fit our little family and our furry children.
 

 We even got little miss her first camping chair!  Bring on the summer!!

So I know I have mentioned in past posts how much Jade loves to swing...so we got her own little swing to attach to our swing set.  And I think she likes it!  But I can't quit tell...what do you think.........?

Cousin Alyssa was over the other day while her parents went on a date and she got to play too!

 Don't judge that her outfit was quite the ensemble!!  This little girl of ours absolutely loves to be outside! No matter how cold it is! 

 I can't believe she is 13 months!!!! We are loving every minute!

She is now really good at:
Crawling up and back down the stairs
Reversing off the couch
Saying No and Dog
And she absolutely loves to hand us things!  She gets so excited when she does and we say "Thank you!"

Good Week

 Last week was fabulous!  Fabulous weather and fabulous company!  On Wednesday Jade and I rode to the park and met up with Jenni & Swayzie and Brittany, Hayden & Carter!  We had a great time and Jade especially loved the swing!!

 And this is an awkward picture, (including her wind burned cheeks from being outside)  but it shows off her new top tooth!!  Came in about April 1st!  That makes 4.

This weekend we had the VERY pleasant surprise that Trevor and Lashel were coming up to spend the weekend with us!!!!!  Trevor had some work stuff to do in Provo.  So they came up Thursday night and stayed til Sunday!  We loved having them here:) 

 On Friday me and Lashel hung out with the kids while Tom and Trevor were at work.  We even braved the grocery store...which was hilarious, chaotic, and got a little crazy haha!  I don't know how women take like 5 kids to the store with them!  Props to them

Marley loved Koleman because he would keep throwing the ball for him!  I love these pics of Kman...he is such a natural ninja!
 

 Man I love being outside!! I wish it was spring and fall all year round!  Jade loves it too!  She is getting so much more daring now outside!  She used to be scared of the grass and any transition from like cement to grass or grass to the sandbox- but now she loves running and stumbling all over the yard!  She thinks she is so cool when she walks from the patio, across the grass and out to the fence!  She will smack the fence and look back at us like "I made it!"

 On Saturday I had to work for only a few hours so when I got back we went to the park!

 I think Lashel and I may have had more fun than the kids! :)

 And Tom and Koleman were just the cutest all weekend... Whenever Tom was not in the room Koleman would say "Where's Tom the cat!?"

And Saturday night we went to PF Chang's for dinner which was DELICIOUS!

Sunday morning we watched General Conference and I guess the kids were really into it! 

 That is what you call a good week! 
Thanks again for coming Trevor and Lashel!  It was so fun!  I'm so glad we got to spend lots of time with you since we won't get to see you guys again til like August!  Hopefully this weekend will hold us over..:(  Good luck in Texas this summer!
