Almost another month gone by...

This past Sunday the adorable twins were blessed!  They both looked so cute and are getting so big:)  It was so great to see them and cuddle them!   Roger gave them both beautiful blessings and it was nice to spend the afternoon with my family.

Thank you for the great luncheon Tasha and Roger!  Love you guys!

Grandma duty....
I just love this picture of my handsome dad!  He just looks great:)

And the best grandparents in the world...
And on the way home Jade was just chillin...but couldn't decide if she liked my sunglasses right side up or upside down:)

Time is just flying by!  We have been busy and loving life!  Jadelyn is so smart and always cracking us up with the things she says and does!  She loves going to the store with me and I made the mistake of letting her in one of the GIANT car carts in Maceys and now every time she points and begs, "Jadelyn got to drive da car!"  (She uses her full name a lot now, which is funny because we don't.  She will even correct us sometimes if we say 'Jade', she'll say "No, I'm Jadelyn."
She totally takes on the character of whatever she thinks she looks like.  For example, in this pic I was just seeing if all her hair could go in ponytails yet and I hadn't finished yet so the ponytails were sticking straight up and she yells, "I'm a cat!"  She wouldn't let me fix it and the rest of the night she was meowing.
And if she has anything pretty on like a bow or a dress, she is "Princess Jadelyn"

I babysat Trey the other day and just look at these little nuggets!  Cutest picture ever:)
Swayzie and Jade make the best team of doctors around!  They had Swayzie's Doc Mcstuffin's kit and were giving everyone checkups....
...obviously they were the most concerned about Tom!  It was so funny, Jade kept poking him with tools and saying, "and check right here (poke), Oh sorry Dad!"
Just some cute pictures of our little cheeser!

And this picture just makes me bust up laughing!  I mean, come on, how cute is that?! So funny.  We went to dinner with our friends Kenzi and Nate and had some time to kill at the mall beforehand.

Tom built a sweet fort with our IKEA boxes!  Definitely entertained us all, all night!

Some of the funny things I can think of that she has said are:
-One time on our walk she kept pointing and asking for a stick, so I gave her one and she said, "It's princess Jadelyn's magic wand!!"  What the?  Ok then!  Too dang smart
-She now fully realizes when she, ya know, passes gas...and she'll proudly state, "That's a fart!!"  We tried (at first) to correct her by saying something like "That's a toot" and she would say, "NO, that's a fart!"  Now we are just going with it because it is so dang funny!
-She has recently loved feeling like she is dressed up and looking cute!  The other day the Byrd's were over and Addi had on a little mermaid nightgown and Jade insisted on putting on a dress too!  And basically dragged me up the stairs to change her into a dress.
-She very dramatically will point out things that are cool to her by saying, "WOW mama, just LOOK at THAT!"
-When she doesn't want to do what we are asking her to, (like if she is ready to go to bed, get out of the bath, or leave the park) she will calmly give us a logical reason why not.  "No, I'm not tired yet" or "No, I'm just playing" or "No, I'm just swinging"  It cracks us up!
-The other night we went out to eat at a small local place and we were trying to get her to eat some of the grilled cheese sandwich we got her, and she was refusing and started yelling, "I don't eat hot dogs!  I don't eat hot dogs!"  Where did she get that hahaha!  It was a smidge embarrassing!
-After prayers or hymns at church she will always clap and yell, "YAY!"
-It's also really cute when she says things to us that we say to her.   I can't think of an exact example but, we will just do something random, and she will come up and say, "I'm so proud of you!"
-She also likes to show us how "big and strong" she is getting by grunting and lifting up random things that are "oh so heavy!"  We asked her to flex to show us how strong she was and she totally flexed her arms as hard as she could, 'til she was shaking, and the most adorable little fart ever came out:) So funny!

We went to the park for a little bit to fly our kite!  Glad that wedding gift finally came in handy almost 8 years later!
Gosh I love these two!

We also went to the springville park (which I don't recommend)...but we got some cute pictures!

Can't get enough of her!

Little update:  I'm now almost 16 weeks along with baby #2!  Things are going well with the baby and we feel so blessed!  We will hopefully find out what we are having next week!  And I officially felt the baby move for the first time today!  I felt it 3 distinct times so I don't think I'm crazy!  But it's so weird because last time I wasn't certain until 22 weeks!  So I don't know if it's just because I'm familiar with it or what!

Valentine's Day and such

Last week didn't start out great....but it definitely turned itself around!  When we got home from Delta on Sunday night I was sick as a dog!  I thought it was just pregnancy stuff, but I ended up throwing up like every hour all night!  It was horrible, I thought I might die haha, but really!  And when your pregnant and can't keep anything down, including your nausea pill, it's pretty much the worst!  It was some sort of stomach flu.  I was supposed to work Monday but had to call in sick and Tom took the day off to to take care of Jade.  I spent the day rotting in our room and I'm SOOO glad Tom was here with Jade so I could stay away from her...and thankfully, neither of them got it.  He was so sweet, taking care of everything and checking on me to see if I needed anything.
So anyways...I survived haha

By Thursday I was feeling back to normal and I took the dogs and Jade on a walk at the park.  We went around the trail and when we went by the playground, most of the snow had melted and it was pretty warm so I tied up the dogs and we played!  Pj's and all!  It was just so fun to be out in the fresh air and had the park to ourselves!  I'm so excited for spring!

That night Tom and I went out for Valentine's day!  Just the two of us!  It was so nice!  We hardly ever get a babysitter so we can go out...although we are going to try to do it more often!  We went to Carabba's of course!..our favorite!
I'm so lucky and grateful to have this guy as my Valentine for the 8th year!  I count my blessings everyday for him!  Love you babe!

After dinner we did a little Valentine's shopping and Tom got me a new purse and some shoes, and I got him a new hat and pillows!  Tom also picked out a Valentine for Jade= a really cute little Mickey Mouse book set and she loved it!
We also gave each other a love letter which was my favorite thing ever!  I cherish notes from Tom more than anything!
Happy Love Day!

And introducing!!!!!>>>>>>>  SUPER JADE!  The other night it was so cute!  We tied her pj's on her and said it's a cape and she totally understood and said "Super Jade!"  It was hilarious!  So for about the next hour she ran around knowing she was being awesome and we really played it up!  Soon we had her saying, "I'm so strong! I'm so smart!  I'm so brave!  I'm Super Jade!"    We would say "Super Jade can fly!" and she would start jumping!  And when we would show her the pics on the camera that we had just taken and ask who it was, she would say, "It's Super Jade!"  haha Precious moments:)

The other night I gave Treyvin his first real haircut.  I was nervous when Jess sent me the pic of what she wanted because it was a wide, blended mohawk and I didn't know if a one year old could hold still enough to do it but he was sooo good!  It turned out so cute and he looks so different!  His hair used to be about twice as long as Jade's!  Doing a fun haircut on him really got me excited for if we are having a boy:)

Yesterday Brittany and I went to the park to enjoy the 50 degree weather! (it's snowing now...typical)   Jade and Carter thought the wood chips were the coolest things ever haha!  They kept throwing them in the air and at each other.  Carter started putting them on his and her heads and it was so funny!

Just a couple random pics of Jade loving on the dogs!  She's always asking where one or the other is if she can't find them.  She also loves greeting them when we get home from somewhere and telling them what to do ("Go away Jovi!  Marley come here! Get down!)

Now if she could just get over this runny nose and little cough she has had for 3 weeks, that would be great!
