Last week didn't start out great....but it definitely turned itself around! When we got home from Delta on Sunday night I was sick as a dog! I thought it was just pregnancy stuff, but I ended up throwing up like every hour all night! It was horrible, I thought I might die haha, but really! And when your pregnant and can't keep anything down, including your nausea pill, it's pretty much the worst! It was some sort of stomach flu. I was supposed to work Monday but had to call in sick and Tom took the day off to to take care of Jade. I spent the day rotting in our room and I'm SOOO glad Tom was here with Jade so I could stay away from her...and thankfully, neither of them got it. He was so sweet, taking care of everything and checking on me to see if I needed anything.
So anyways...I survived haha
By Thursday I was feeling back to normal and I took the dogs and Jade on a walk at the park. We went around the trail and when we went by the playground, most of the snow had melted and it was pretty warm so I tied up the dogs and we played! Pj's and all! It was just so fun to be out in the fresh air and had the park to ourselves! I'm so excited for spring!
That night Tom and I went out for Valentine's day! Just the two of us! It was so nice! We hardly ever get a babysitter so we can go out...although we are going to try to do it more often! We went to Carabba's of course!..our favorite!
I'm so lucky and grateful to have this guy as my Valentine for the 8th year! I count my blessings everyday for him! Love you babe!
After dinner we did a little Valentine's shopping and Tom got me a new purse and some shoes, and I got him a new hat and pillows! Tom also picked out a Valentine for Jade= a really cute little Mickey Mouse book set and she loved it!
We also gave each other a love letter which was my favorite thing ever! I cherish notes from Tom more than anything!
Happy Love Day!
And introducing!!!!!>>>>>>> SUPER JADE! The other night it was so cute! We tied her pj's on her and said it's a cape and she totally understood and said "Super Jade!" It was hilarious! So for about the next hour she ran around knowing she was being awesome and we really played it up! Soon we had her saying, "I'm so strong! I'm so smart! I'm so brave! I'm Super Jade!" We would say "Super Jade can fly!" and she would start jumping! And when we would show her the pics on the camera that we had just taken and ask who it was, she would say, "It's Super Jade!" haha Precious moments:)
The other night I gave Treyvin his first real haircut. I was nervous when Jess sent me the pic of what she wanted because it was a wide, blended mohawk and I didn't know if a one year old could hold still enough to do it but he was sooo good! It turned out so cute and he looks so different! His hair used to be about twice as long as Jade's! Doing a fun haircut on him really got me excited for if we are having a boy:)
Yesterday Brittany and I went to the park to enjoy the 50 degree weather! (it's snowing now...typical) Jade and Carter thought the wood chips were the coolest things ever haha! They kept throwing them in the air and at each other. Carter started putting them on his and her heads and it was so funny!
Just a couple random pics of Jade loving on the dogs! She's always asking where one or the other is if she can't find them. She also loves greeting them when we get home from somewhere and telling them what to do ("Go away Jovi! Marley come here! Get down!)
Now if she could just get over this runny nose and little cough she has had for 3 weeks, that would be great!
