First week of June / Concrete!

Sooo recently...

 The Wednesday following Memorial and Labor day every year we have a staff day at Aveda where the students have the day off and the staff gets to hang out!  This time we had a meeting in the morning then went out to Jason's Deli and then played the funnest game of kickball!  It was a blast...man I love my co-workers!  I can't believe I get paid to hang out with these people!  Good times

Tasha is helping me out and watching Jadelyn on the days I work at Aveda this month!  Thanks sis and it looks like lots of cousin fun going on!

So Memorial day we removed the lawn and Saturday June 1st we prepped and framed for the cement!  Thank you soooo much Dad for helping, teaching us and showing us the way!  And thank you Mom and Conlan for coming and for all your help!  Doing work!....

 Random pics but so cute....Tom has been teaching Jade how to catch a ball!  Pretty impressive and she is sooo proud when she does it!  I could watch these two play for hours :) 

 Last week we went over to Brittany's for a little pool party!  Look at those cute kiddos!

 Too bad Jade wasn't a huge fan of the actual pool :(  But she loved running around in the sunshine with her friends and was definitely a fan of the grapes!!

 That Friday night my parents came back up again to finish up the cement project!  We first went out to dinner! 

No one taught her this!  So funny!  She loved it!  Natural instinct I tell ya!  Definitely our child to love chips and salsa and Mexican food!

 Too bad Jade still isn't so great at restaurants! :(  She hates being confined and not able to run around!  But we survived...

 Then we walked down to Glades for milkshakes!  And I just loved these pics of Jade with her grandparents!

Then we got home and took the 4-wheeler for a spin!  Jade is obsessed!

 It was so fun to have my family stay the night!
Then in the morning it was go time!  Thank you sooo much to everyone that came and helped us!! Brent, Roger, and Gregg/Sharice- we couldn't have done it without you!  We appreciate it soo much!

 And Jade wasn't busy, so we had her move the wheelbarrow for us!

Thank you so much again MOM and DAD!  For all the time, traveling, and effort to help us do this!  We appreciate you two more than you will ever know!


 Now just some random pics and info about little Miss...

Love this cute outfit from Gammy!

 She is learning, growing and changing everday!  I'm so grateful to be able to be home with her 5 days a week!  I love being a mom so much!  Even on the difficult days where everything seems to be going wrong, she will always do something to put a smile on my face!

She now distinctly says Mom or Dada when she wants your attention...usually just to tell us "Hi".
She will answer with a "Yeah" when she wants to do what we are asking.
The other day in the car Tom said "1,2,3, Go!" a couple times and then she would say the "Go" part!  So the whole way home was filled with Tom: "1,2,3..." Jade: "GO!"  Pretty darn cute!

 She also learned just today how to get up on the couch all by herself!  She was so proud!

 She also picked up doing this cute thing...We are teaching her hugs and kisses so we will hug her baby toys and pat them on the back and say "ohhhh baby...hug" (in a soothing tone).  So now whenever we say "baby"  she will pat her chest like she is holding the baby doll and say "baby, baby, baby".  See in pic below!  So funny!

 Another melt-your-heart cute thing she does is 'Shhhh' us!  It is adorable!  She puts her little finger up to her lips and does 3 quick, little "shh, shh, shh"'s.  Then she gives us the biggest smiles at our reactions!  This pic of her doing it isn't the best...but you get the idea

One last cute thing!...(sorry...not sorry)
There is this Twinkle Twinkle Little Star video that we watch that has an Owl and a Star in it and she now goes crazy with excitement and points to each one and says, "star, star, star, owl, star, owl, owl", ....and so on...the whole time!
 And I almost forgot!  Jade finally got in both teeth on each side of her top teeth... so that makes 6 teefies
