Month of May

Time just keeps flying by!  Here's what we've been up to...

Playing at the park during a family bike ride.  Jade learned to climb the wall by herself!  And talk about doing it in fashion!

We went to the Payson Temple open house and it is gorgeously stunning!  I'm so excited and so grateful to have this new temple so close to us.

Lainey has quickly moved from learning how to crawl to now climbing the stairs, pulling herself up to stand on everything and is now starting to stand unassisted!  She is crazy!  She is constantly busy and on the move!  It is so fun!

I had a fabulous Mother's day!  Tom cooked all day, got me my favorite candy and a spa gift card which I'm so excited about using!  And Jadelyn made me not one, but two sweet cards!  I am so very grateful and blessed for the opportunity I have been given to be these girl's mom!

Jade is currently obsessed with potato bugs ("roley poleys") and Jade and I have mastered some sweet trampoline tricks!

Thankful that Tom (usually) obliges to go on walks with me!

Lainey now has 2 little teeth on the bottom!  And I just love how she smiles with her mouth wide open!
She is also quite the opposite of how Jade was when it comes to food (and most everything actually haha).  Jade never showed interest in what we were eating, hated eating for the most part (especially when we started adding things other than baby food.)  Feeding Jade was like an hour long event which included distracting her with the iPad to sneak food in!  Granted: we were first time parents fearing our child would starve to death if she didn't eat specified amounts..  BUT Lainey loves real food!  She is always reaching for our food and wants bites off our forks.  In fact, we sometimes have to trick her by using our utensils to feed her baby food because she thinks she is over the baby food thing haha

Also I'm pretty sure Jade never had sugar until her first birthday... but just today Lainey was loving a caramel apple sucker and here she is trying snow cones.... second child problems.

And we just look crazy!

I love that these girls are really starting to love each other's company!  Lainey follows Jade around all day and Jade proudly tells everyone that, "this is my baby sister Lainey"

Jade's hair is usually pretty messy when she wakes up...but this day took the cake!  It was so matted!

We went to dinner with my parents and Conlan when they came up for the temple open house and it was so fun and delicious!

The Julians came to visit for a few hours on Memorial Day!  It was fun to let Jade and Luke play together, make a yummy lunch, and give Sharice a haircut

Jade had to test out her new patio chair out in the sun before purchase!

We went to Classic Skating in Orem last week and had a blast!  Jade could've stayed for hours!
