January

January has been good!  No big events, just our day to day life happening.  Here are some tids and bits of it!

I went to a Redken class at my salon that was a really good refresher!  I love all my co-workers, I'm so blessed to work where I do and have all the flexibility I need to be a mom first!
That same night was Little Readers Pre-school open house and we got Jade all enrolled for Fall!  Crazy!  I think she is going to love it!  She loved the school (well mostly the slide haha)

We had a lot of fun having the Gouldings over for a Jazz game and poor Stacy entertained Jade the whole night haha!
On the Sunday we had Stake conference the weather was perfection that afternoon so we went to the park!

Best view in the house!....minus the mess :)

The weather this winter continues to be pretty good so the caravan and I have been going on walks again!

Gosh I just love you Lainey, with all that I am!

Daniel Tiger have the girls like.....

I babysat Trey the other day and they were both such good doctors!  And a couple days later, I watched Hayden and Carter for a little bit!  Jade loves her little buddies!

The Hunts were in town last weekend so we had a game night with them and the Fowlers!  It was so fun to hang out with them again!  It had been too long!

When I took out Jades braid the next day we got this cool 80's look!

Glad I forced Tom into taking these photos before church!
I mean geez!!... my whole world right there...

Adventures of Jade...  stealing a random kids toy at the park, dipping veggie straws in milk, and "reading" the mail to me!

Gammy and Gampy stopped by on their way home from the airport and Jade got a killer horsey ride for my good sport dad!

Although this girl can drive me straight to the bag of chocolate chips with her dramatics lately...I love you forever Jade

New Year's and Luke's birthday

We continued on with our traveling and turned right around and went to St. George on Monday the 29th!  We love to get away to visit Trevor and Lashel when we can and so we spent New Year's with them again this year!

Jade absolutely had a blast with Koleman and Kiptyn!  She has been so spoiled and lucky this holiday season to spend so much time with all her cousins.

We did lots of playing, eating (they treated us like kings!  mmmmm still drooling over the Sausage egg-holes haha!), shopping, laughing, and gaming (Tom takes full advantage of the fact Koleman loves Nintendo too and is "teaching" him!  We also played lots of Blokus!)

Lashel and I may have bought the same shirt haha

For New Year's Eve we had a little party at Lashel's sister's gorgeous house and Jade was in heaven up in the playroom and playing with the kids!
We played reverse charades again!  Here are a couple action shots hahaha!  Trevor is acting out baby powder on poor Lainey:)
The kids (and adults) had quite the dance party!  My heart could just burst seeing Tom dance with Jadelyn!

First family picture of 2015!  Well almost... we rang in the New Year at 8pm and went back to Trev and Lashel's and put the kids to bed.
Thank you so much Lashel and Trevor for letting us come bombarde you for a few days!  And sorry it happened to be such a busy time for you guys getting ready for your move.  We always have so much fun!

So we drove home on Thursday, New Years day and then went up to West Valley on Friday night for Luke's 2nd birthday party!  Thanks for the fun party Julians!

After Luke had his cake, he came down in this shirt!!!!!!! Sharice and Gregg are having another baby!  We are so excited for them and I loved their cute announcement where both sides of their family were all there.

Now a little update on the girls:
Lainey is getting so big and so fun!
*We just had her 4 month well check (a couple weeks late)  and she weighed 16.11 lbs (90%) and 26 inches long (90%) and 17 inch head circ (100%)  She is a big girl!  She is 1 lb heavier and 1.5 inches taller than Jade was a 4 months!
*She rolled over from back to tummy for the first time for Tom on Saturday, Jan 3 while I was at work :(  and that was the only time until yesterday.  Now she rolls like crazy!!
*She is so happy and smiley!  Anyone that looks at her and talks to her will get the biggest smile!  My favorite thing is that she smiles with her whole body!  Her eyes smile and light up and her whole body starts wiggling
*When she is happy or excited she opens her mouth really wide like a baby bird and starts shaking and goes in for lots of slobbery kisses.
*She is an awesome sleeper and eater.  She takes 3 naps a day and eats 5 times a day.  She sleeps from about 9:30 pm - 8 am and I usually just "have" to go in to put her binky in once or twice in the night (I need to stop that :) )
*Her favorite person to watch is Jade!  She loves watching her run around and play!
*She is so fun and usually very easy going
We love you Lainey girl!

Jadelyn is sooo funny!  ^^ That is her helmet.  Safety first!
*She is quite a drama queen right now, has a couple crying melt-downs a day over nothing, and is not enjoying learning to share things with her friends and nursery kids.  I guess that's a 2 year old for you:)
*She is getting much better at eating in general.  She will sit down to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner now without much fuss (as long as she is strapped into her booster and can't escape)!  And we no longer have to use the iPad to distract her while we shove food in haha!  She still is a little picky when it comes to dinner though.  She loves to pick out her own snacks.
*She still (usually) takes a nap from about 2-5 and sleeps from 9:30- 8:30am (WONDERFUL!)  But she is also ok when skipping a nap is necessary, so that is nice.
*She is cutely overly concerned with Lainey's well being.  I made the mistake of telling her during one of their baths to be careful not to bump Lainey to much because she could roll off her mat and sink and that that would be bad and scary.  So now Jade freaks out (to tears) if Lainey is even just kicking and splashing and tries to shove her up on the mat and yells "Mom, help her!  She's sinking"  and I have to keep reassuring her that I'm right here watching and that she's ok!  But she won't relax and go back to playing until I'm holding Lainey's foot haha
*She loves showing Lainey how all of her toys work and loves tickling her to get some smiles or laughs out of her
*Some funny things I have jotted down that she has said over the past few weeks:
- Me: "Jade, can I have a hug?" J: "Ummm, maybe tomorrow."
-I was playing with Lainey and being extra enthusiastic and silly (specifically to get a laugh out of Jade) and Jade puts her hand on my arm and says, "Mom, don't be a freak. OK?"  I about died laughing of shock/ embarrassment haha
-She was pretending her tangerine pieces were "the Orange family"  and so I was playing along but wanted her to hurry and finish her lunch so when she got a little distracted I put a piece in her mouth and she mindlessly starts chewing it and then in shocked disgust, spits it out and says, "That's Mommy orange!!"
-She likes to randomly point out a mole on my face and one day she was eating cereal and with a full mouth she starts pointing to me and saying, "mmmhh, mmmhh!" I said, "What? Mom?"  Then she starts pointing at my face more enthusiastically and keeps saying, "mmmmmmmhh!"  Again I said, "What? Milk? Mom?"  and she swallows her bite and yells, "MOLE!"  hahahaha geez
*When I sing her 'Hush little baby' at bedtime, she quietly waits for the part that says, "and if that dog named Rover won't bark" and jumps in and says "fart!" while I say 'bark'
*She has these mini Frozen toys and she calls Hans (prince of the Southern Isles), just "suddern isles" and thinks that's his name.  It makes me laugh every time so I create ways for her to say it just so I can hear it hahaha "Oh suddern isles!  Oh suddern isles!  Come here"
*Last night she was kind of holding Lainey with her arms wrapped around her tummy when Lainey spit up.  Some got on Jade's hand and she freaked out, flailing her hand and said, "EW! She spit up on me!  That's DISGUSTING!!"

Man what would we do without these 2 gals!  We are soooo blessed!
