November

This month has flown by!  My days are spent with these 2 cuties and I wouldn't trade it for the world!
I mean geez!  Look at that smile!

Jade is at such a fun and dramatic age!  She is always cracking us up with the things she comes up with and says!

Her new bed..
She has been loving playing with the dogs lately...whether they like it or not!  She will run and chase them, tease them with her food, tackle, hug, and play fetch with them.
We had our first big snow storm last week and it was so fun!  It started out like this...
 Then turned into this....

And ended like this... warming her bare butt by the heater haha!  I didn't anticipate that when she said she wanted to go out in the snow that she would really go all out, so it didn't put on her snow pants.  So she was cold and wet!
 An awkward family selfie haha
Jade has been soooo into dressing up lately!  All day she needs me to add and take away random accessories!
She even had to wear her goggles on our walk and of course give the fire hydrant a hug!

We had a fun visit from my parents and brother who is home from Yale for Thanksgiving!

My awesome parents even watched the girls for Tom and I to go to the temple and go out to dinner last week!  It was so fun and much needed!

I'm a total hypocrite and decorated before Christmas!  But I love our new tree and Jade was sooo excited about it and loved helping (breaking several ornaments)

And this little angel is 3 months old today!  I can't believe it!  She is seriously so sweet and is just a content, calm, and happy baby!  We are so lucky and blessed to have her in our family!  We love her so much!
She weighs 14.5 lbs AND is sleeping through the night!!!! 10pm-8am!!!!  (knock on wood)  I tell ya, she is the perfect baby!  I was not so lucky in the sleep department with Jade, who didn't sleep through the night until 6 months.
She also gives us the cutest laughs!
We love you Lainey Quinn!

Halloween weekend

Tom took off Halloween which was awesome since he was in Texas for a work training the previous 5 days!  That was far too long to be away from him!!   Anyways, we survived but we sure missed him!

So Halloween morning Tom made us some spooky breakfast haha!
Not to bad for his first try at pancake ?art?
That afternoon we headed down to Delta.  Despite Jade not feeling so great, she had a blast trick-or-treating!  Of course, she refused to wear her antennas while we were out trick-or-treating!  But then also refused to take them off once we got home :)  Typical:)

She was the cutest little lady bug!  And she caught on to the whole thing really fast and loved getting the candy!  She did try to go in the doors again this year haha!  It was a lot of fun taking my daughter trick-or-treating around the neighborhood I grew up, but also kind of crazy!  Young adults were answering the doors and handing out candy that I used to babysit!  Isn't everything supposed to stop changing once you move out and away?!
Jade loved trick-or-treating with Gammy (aka Flo)!  Isn't my mom's costume so awesome!?

We came across some people in scary costumes, but surprisingly, Jade didn't ever cry!  She would just do a double take and get a scared look on her face and I would just say, "wow!  Look at that spooky costume!"  and she was fine.  She just needed to be reminded that they were just costumes.  And she would nervously laugh and say, "ya that was spoooooooky!"

Example:  meeting Spiderman... jaw dropped and furrowed brows haha

Once we got home, she loved helping Gampy hand out the candy!

And did a little light reading :)

And Happy Halloween from our cute little pumpkin!

On Saturday morning, Tom went out to the annual family pheasant hunt!  He said they had a blast and the chili and doughnuts were as good as ever!
My mom and I went to the craft show while my dad watched Lainey!
When we got back, my parents kindly watched both girls so I could go to one of my high school friend's baby shower!  It was fun to catch up with some old friends!
I'm sad I didn't end up making it out to the Styler pheasant hunt because by the time we were heading out the door after Lainey had napped and ate, the party was coming to an end :(
We all had a great weekend and loved spending time with my parents!

A few random pics:

A couple weeks ago, we went up to Park City to visit Michelle because she had knee replacement surgery.  Thankfully, it went well, but poor Michelle was miserable so we were glad we could go see her.  On the way home we stopped at Dairy Keen in Heber.. hence Jade is rockin' some toy glasses that were in her kids meal!

Jade has been suuuuper clingy to me lately, which is cute and all, but also exhausting!  The phrase, "Mom, I really need you" (said in a crying voice) has been pretty common place lately.  But now that Tom is back and she is feeling better, she has been better.  Hence this pic, where the only place she would nap was on me:)  Lucky for her, she is so cute!

Lainey is getting so strong and is overall the most sweet, content baby!  This picture is kind of weird, but it shows her sweet smile!
