Luke's Birthday & St.George / New Years!

Luke turned one!!  It's so crazy to think that a whole year has come and gone since all of the craziness of his birth day when we almost lost Sharice!  So grateful for the blessing of her returning to full health!  We went up to his birthday party on Saturday the 28th to celebrate with them

 The next morning we headed down to St. George to spend a few days with Trevor & Lashel.  Thankfully the iPad entertained her all the way down!

 Lashel's sister Kali and her family joined that night and I couldn't resist this photo op!   All these kids climbed up there and were just sitting so cute and Jade has an extra giant grin because she knew she was being sneaky climbing up there with the big kids after I told her not to

 We were loving the nice weather!  We even went and played at a park after dark and it wasn't too cold!

 On Monday we went Swimming at the Washington Rec center and had a blast (despite Jade slipping and smacking the back of her head :( So sad:( Parenting fail:( )

That night we ate at Texas Roadhouse!  And all the kids were so good!

On New Year's Eve we went up to Enterprise to Lashel's parents house and had a great day!!!  Thanks to Lashel and Trevor, I got to live out my dream of being a cowgirl and rode a horse for the first time!! And it was soooo great!  I would do that everyday if I could:)  And her sweet mom made us HOMEMADE corn dogs and french fries = AMAZING!!!!  Thank you Anita and Randy for opening up your home to us and letting us ride your horses!!!

 

 Jadelyn loved it too!  She kept jabbering the whole way!

Then that night Kali & Jonathon and Darren & Dani came over for dinner and a New Year's Eve party!  P.S. Lashel's enchiladas were insane!  We still dream about them!

We headed out on New Year's Day and spent some time with Dallas and Stefany at their new house in St. George before we made the trek home:)  It was great to see them and even though we are happy for them to be down there and all, we miss them!!  Jade loved dragging Stef all around there house talking her ear off and jumping on their trampoline!

 Well now it's back to the grind!  And unfortunately Jade and I are both sick at the moment, but I found a cute little activity to cheer her up:)  This actually entertained her far longer than I thought it would!
