First day of church! Thanks for the cute dressJenni!

We lasted all of 45 minutes:)

She loves her car seat and going on wlks in it in the stroller!

Jade getting so big and strong! If she wants her hands somewhere, they WILL get there! And she loves holding her head up and looking around especially at lights and windows. Ya she is pretty cute! Well thats all cuz she needs me! Life is good

6 years!

I can't believe it we have been married 6 years!! Time has flown soo fast! And I have loved every minute of it! So Tom cooked me THE MOST AMAZING breakfast ever! It might not look that appetizing but it was. And definitely not healthy:) He stole the idea from Callie's Cafe and its bisquits, hashbrowns, and scrambled eggs with sausage and country gravy in between each layer! yum!

Then later that day my parents came over to watch Jade while we went on a date. And apparently this is how grandpa babysits:)

We went to Red Robin, then to watch The Hunger Games, then to Cold stone. It was perfect and nice to get out just the two of us

But we were definitely excited to get home to this sweet 1 month old!! I cant believe she is a month already!

Easter-ish

Grandpa Styler came by for a visit:)

Two weeks ago Trevor and Lashel came up for the weekend to meet "baby Jade" as Koleman called her:) It was so fun to have them stay with us! They totally spoiled us and cooked us some amazing meals! WE are pretty lucky!

We ventured out with Jadelyn for the first time by going to eat at Barry's and then we went to a park to enjoy the good weather and let the boys play:)

Then Easter weekend we headed down to Delta. With my family we ate some delicious food, played some Rook with Aunt Linda and Uncle Bill, watched the jazz game, and let the grandparents love on Jade;)

We also went to the annual Styler family Easter egg hunt at Tom's aunt and uncles house! Holy so much candy! I cant wait til Jade is old enough to participate so I dont feel so guilty stealing me some candy! Its always fun to see the Styler extended family and of course we ate tons!

Then we went up to Tom's moms for the rest of the day and got to spend some good time with Grandma and Grandpa Probst, Kimi and Sadie, and Michelle and Larry

Overall it was a great Easter weekend with lots of food and family! Perfect! And Tom will kill me for putting this picture on here but I can't help myself...it melts my heart.

Our new love

Jadelyn Kay Styler arrived on Friday March 16th at 3:09 pm weighing 7lbs 11oz! So at about 1:20am on Friday morning we were sound asleep when my water broke! It was so crazy! I just remember standing in the shower laughing and my hands shaking! The realization hit that we were having her today! So Tom and I grabbed everything and we headed to the hospital. On the way there the contractions were really starting to come. We got to the hospital around 2:30am and I was dialated to a 2.5. Time was so crazy at the hospital, all the sudden it was 5 am and the contractions kept on coming and gradually getting worse. Around 8am ?I think I was dialated to a 4.5 and got the epidural (thank goodness!!) Wow what a miracle! So from then on I was pretty comfortable and we even took a nap until I got to a 9 and then wow the pain was pretty bad again but thankfully the anesthiseologist (sp? :) was going by to check on me and gave me an extra dose:) I was finally at a 10 around 12pm but we had to "rest and descend" for an hour. aka the doc wasn't coming for an hour:) So i started pushing at 1:50pm and at 3:09 pm the doc stopped me mid push and said "just breathe" I was like what?! thinking why are we wasting this contraction. Then he said "look down" and oh my heck- There was her head! And then he just pulled her on out! It was by far the most amazing thing in mine and Toms life! Oh Tom...I could not have done it without him! He was/is amazing. So all was fine and dandy for about an hour and a half, Tom and I were finally alone in the room just basking in it all when i looked down in the blanket when i realized she was not breathing!!! I freaked and pulled her out and she was blue! we were smacking her and she gasped but went limp again. I hit the nurse button and told them she stopped breathing and about 4 nurses ran in and took her to the little baby station and started working on her. It was the most sickening feeling i have ever felt to sit there helpless and watch them lift up her arm and watch it drop limp. I thought- are we going to lose her?! What happened?! Did I smoother her? Luckily she was quickly revived and the docs had no explanation. They took her to the NICU for a couple hours just to watch her and Tom went with her. Thankfully everything was fine and Jade has been perfectly healthy ever since. We are so in love with her and our little family! It is amazing how your life literally changes the moment you meet your little one! Life is good and we couldn't be more blessed. Thank you to all our friends an family for all your help, love, meals, and support !
