We had a busy summer! Around the beginning of July, we started feeling like it was time for us to start looking for a new house. The timing just felt right. We were starting to feel crowded in our home of almost 10 years. And we were hoping to continue to grow our family. My LuLaRoe business was doing well and I had saved up enough for a nice downpayment. So the search began amidst our crazy life!

We had a fun date night with the Fowlers to see 311 and Blue October in concert! We LOVE Blue October and try to see them whenever they are in Utah!

We got together with my Dallas Roberts/Aveda friends Kenzi and Jaime! Our girls had a blast playing and we had a blast catching up!
So... after a crazy few weeks of searching, putting in offers, reserving a lot and deciding to build... we ended up finding the PERFECT existing home! Right in the area we wanted to be in, right in our price range, and simply perfect for us! Everything just fell into place and we knew it was right for us. They accepted our offer! Originally, we thought we would sell our home when we found a new one... but the owners of the home we were buying, needed a place to rent while their new home was being built. So it worked out perfectly for us to essentially switch houses! And we have actually ended up deciding to keep the home as a rental long term and have since had a new family friends move in!
One of the absolute hardest parts about moving is leaving the friends and neighbors that we have grown to love so much! Thankfully we didn't move to far, but it's different when you don't get to see them weekly.
I was 1st counselor in the Young Woman's presidency. This calling and serving with these amazing women was definitely a deeply meaningful experience for me. I love these women and know that Heavenly Father knew how much I needed them in my life at that time. Thankfully we all keep in touch and still get together.

This was the last night (last bath) in our old home. I got very sentimental thinking about all the memories, love, tears, happiness, and even baths taken in this house. It was so good to us and we loved it, but we were soooo excited to move into the new house!
Moving Day!!! The girls were such troopers with the move, multiple trips to Walmart etc... they earned some new jammies!

The dogs were a little confused haha! Jovi used to lay here all the time and look out the front window of the old house.... and now it's in the basement! It took a little time but they have adjusted and love the new house too!

Our little Lainey had her first day of Pre-school just 2 days after we moved in! She has loved it and is doing so well! She loves learning and feeling big like Jade.
She actually started the week before Jade had Kindergarten so Jade got to take her to class the first day!

Jade learned about families at church and they made a loop with each family member's name on it and it made me cry that she included "Dax". We talk about him often. We love, miss and long for him every single day.
