First couple weeks of August

This is just a random post (photo dump) of what we have been up to the last couple weeks!

We went to the splashpad!  Jade is starting to really love it and is getting braver and braver!  Jessica and Brady randomly showed up too so she had fun playing with Treyvin too!

Some pictures Tasha took of her last day watching Jade!  Thanks Tash!  Now my neighbor has been watching her on Thursdays and it's going well!

Cute, crazy cousins!
Jade sure loves "Sissa" (Alyssa)  and she will point her out whenever we see a picture of her!

That weekend we went to dinner at Red Robin with the Rappleye's!  We had been planning to go to dinner for a while and it never worked out, but we finally made it!

After dinner we took the girl's to play in the mall play area and of course they loved it and Jade made a new friend and was just cracking up at her the whole time!

We did some swimming in the backyard!  --That's why she is only in a swim diaper:)

And some tanning.............
Hahaha not really...don't worry she was fully sun-screened and didn't lay there long.  She is definitely a little copy cat so she copied what I was doing:)

Paparazzi...please no photos....
Marley the magnificent!
We went to the park on a perfect late afternoon when Tom got back from the gym:)

Tom has also been teaching her valuable life skills!  Such as:  knowing all the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and coloring with her toes!!  Thanks babe!

Being adorable eating a peach again with her bib of course!  (not that the bib helps that much)  I don't know why I think her eating a giant peach is so funny/cute, but I do!

Last Friday Tasha asked me to watch Alyssa while her and Roger went to Dr. appointments and we had a really fun day!

We went to the splash pad again with Jenni and Swayzie!

Love this little Blonde-tourage

Later, while Jade was napping, me and Lyssa had fun painting nails and playing.

Getting all practiced up to be a big helper when the twins get here!

And by the end of the day she wasn't scared of the dogs at all anymore and loved them!

That night we had a little craft night at Jenni's with the Bunkers!
The kids of course had a blast together
And we, of course, underestimated the time it would take for our project!  (Everytime)  We made church bags by just making ruffles and sewing them onto plain canvas bags!  Even though it's not quite done, I already used mine on Sunday and I love it!  Plenty of space for my binder and all of Jade's stuff.
This picture is when we finally threw in the towel...at like 2:00am

On Saturday after I got home from the salon, we had some visitors!  My parents came up to spend the day with my Aunt Renita and Uncle Dave (Brother and Sister Heyen) who are new missionaries!  They are in the MTC and are preparing to go on their mission to Johannesburg, South Africa!  It was so great to see them and have them meet Jade!

And lastly just some pics of Jade all ready for church!  She looked sooo cute, even with the funny faces she pulls!

She is growing up way fast!  We are having so much fun with her!  She is so smart!  She knows lots of animals and what sounds they make!  She knows the names of all her toys, most of the Mickey Mouse characters, and most of her body parts.  She can basically express what she wants and what's wrong (which is so nice).   She loves to show off and be the center of attention when people are around and if your not giving her attention she lets you know that is not ok haha.  Even though she isn't in nursery until next month, she has gone in there twice and loves it! (for only about an hour- so hopefully that improves)  but I'm proud of her!  It sure helps when Tom has to teach gospel doctrine and I have to run around checking for primary teachers etc to have her in there.
Until next time:)

Grandparent visits!

This last week was pretty crazy...I ended up working Monday night at the salon, teaching at the school Tuesday & Thursday and Saturday at the salon!  So Jade went to Jenni on Tues and Tasha on Thurs and it was quite the grumpy, miserable week for her.  We didn't know what was up!  We thought maybe just teething (but we didn't see anything, obviously we didn't search that hard), her schedule being a little different and not seeing me as much, maybe sick ??, but then last night I saw 2 top molars in on this poor girl!  That makes a total of 9 teeth for little miss.  So yeah, cutting two molar teeth at once made the whole- crying, clingy, not wanting to eat, extra cuddly, miserable at the babysitters Jade- make sense.  So halelujah those are in because she has been completely back to her old self!
So good thing the only 3 free nights last week were filled with visits from all of her grandparents to cheer her up!!  It's probably my favorite thing to see how Jade just lights up and gets so excited when they are around!  She is definitely a lucky girl to have all of her grandparents fairly close and that love her so much.

My parents came by for a visit on Wednesday on their way up to Salt Lake.  They flew out the next morning to Chicago with my brother Conlan because he was invited to perform there after he won the National MTNA competition!  They had a blast and Conlan performed great!  I wish I could've been there.

On Friday morning John and Tracie had their baby girl!  Congrats guys!  Teaghann is sooo cute!  We need to come up and meet her soon...These pics were stolen from Michelle:)

And on Friday night Michelle and Larry came down to see us!  We went to dinner (despite Jade's restaurant manners) and it was delicious!  They even surprised her with a new doll:)  They definitely made the rounds visiting the kids all over Utah that day!

Then we came back home and just played.  By the end of the night Jade was definitely hamming it up and showing off!

Michelle and Larry took these next pictures with their nice camera and I love them!  Hence, they are on the blog! Thank you Momma!! (I only wish I had wiped off her mouth first!)

"Hello?"

Then she even got her milk and bedtime stories from Grandma:)

On Saturday, Tom sent me some cute pictures of their day:)  He is such a cute dad...and yeah she was in her pj's all day, it's cool.:)

And when I got home from the salon she drew us her very first picture!! And you bet that it got put right up on our fridge!

After church on Sunday, Kevin came up to see us!

This is the first time we actually got her to say "Cheese" and it kind of worked haha
Thanks everyone for coming to visit!! We love it! It's good to see and hear her say that she knows who "Gammy", "Gampy", "Grandma", and "Grandpa" are!

One of Jade's favorite things lately is to eat a whole apple or peach all by herself!  It is soo funny!  If she sees them on the counter she keeps pointing and saying "apple, apple, apple, apple..." til we give her one.  At first we gave her one thinking she would just play with it for a minute and get bored, but nope...she goes to town eating them!

I love this picture!! Such determination!

And just a few cute pictures from the park yesterday!
