Having a decent camera on your phone is great and all, but man, that easy access equals a LOT of pictures!! Which I'm sure I will be/am grateful for...so here is a random picture fiasco

Kimberlie invited us over for dinner a few weeks ago! It was fun to spend some time with them and see their new condo and it was delicious!. Jade loved checking out some new terrain! We had to keep a very close eye on her!

Horrible picture, but we went to dinner with the Hunt's, King's, and Millers! It was so good to see them! It has been a while

Playing some weekend games with the Jones!! We absolutely love them!

This has been her new favorite way to sit. Leg cranked back and usually up on one knee:)

She also does this INCREDIBLY cute thing now where after she finishes her bottle she whips around and just melts onto your chest with her head laying on your shoulder...It's THE BEST

Go ahead, count them...........7! We normally try not to bring her binkies downstairs, they are only for sleeping...except when we are going to clean them, in which case, she has a hay day! It's almost like she has a guilty "I'm caught!" face:)

So this has been our winter!! A frozen tundra! Beautiful and all, but crazy cold!

I still try to be a good dog mom and take the dogs for a walk when I can. If you can't tell, my hair was literally frozen!

She is oh so helpful in the kitchen as you can tell! And she constantly wants to climb up everything...example: me.

Peek-a-boo!!

This was soooo cute!...I know I say that about everything....she was trying to catch the sun's rays!! She is hilarious! I think she has a little obsession with the sun! And I don't know why these pictures look like she has a bowl cut!

She is absolutely loving books all the sudden! She will have her whole basket of toys in front of her and pull out the books to play with! She will now pick one and ~~bring it~~ crawl and stumble-drag it to you to read to her

Oh and she definitely loves her BFF Swayzie! These two girls are 8 months apart and can now totally play with eachother! It's the cutest! Swayzie is so protective and mothering...she will bring Jade her toys and binkies and tell Jenni to "shhh!" while Jade is sleeping. Swayzie is so funny too, she can totally walk but when Jade is around she only crawls with Jade. I love when Jenni sends me pictures of when she babysits on Thursdays, she always catches the cutest things

Some other things Jade does right now are:
1) When she takes a sip of something she will do the classic, refreshing "Ah!" sound (I know you all just did it didn't you?!)
2) She likes to fake cough or fake burp after you do it and then she will do her -exhale so hard and drag out the laugh- laugh
3) She loves to stand up to and push everything around the room (high chair, boxes, her walker, her table toy she got for Christmas,etc)
4) She is taking steps on her own, running back and forth from Tom and I, but still no walking
5) She loves Pancake Manor, Small potatoes, and Yo Gabba Gabba video clips on Youtube
6) Whenever she drops something she will distinctly say "Uh-oh!"
7) She is kind of scared of animal noises haha! She has one book where it goes over the noises each animal makes and when either of us does it, she gets terrified and cries!. We do it very basic (oink, baah, ruff, moo) and she is nervous but ok.., but when we get to the birds (rooster, owl, pheasant) it's all over:)
8)She loves playing with the dogs, and thankfully they are so patient with her!
9) Not a "cute" thing, but, she is kind of a nightmare to take out to eat lately! All she does is squirm and whine to get down to crawl around! So I guess that's good for us-less eating out?
10) She is also down to taking just one nap now, which I was a little worried about, but has been great! She was ready. So instead of 2 broken up 1-2 hour naps, she does one solid nap from about 12:30-3:30pm
11) She is learning patty cake and does the "toss it way high" or "toss it in the oven" part (depending on how you were raised,..Tom thinks it's 'toss it way high'...what?!) really good and shoots her hands straight in the air!
12) She is a little shy and reserved around new people or too many people and becomes super clingy
13) She is smart! She recognizes the sound of the garage door opening and will get so excited and say da da da so loud, knowing that one of us are coming in.
And our downstairs is basically on lock down while we are down there (pantry blocked, stairs blocked, and doggy door blocked ) So if I forget something, she notices and heads right for it! And as you can tell, she knows where this dog door is supposed to go!

This little beauty is almost a year! How can this be? So basically she will be moving out and getting married tomorrow...:(....that's how fast time seems to be going anyway:)
With how busy life is, and how much my human nature of sometimes wishing time away, (wishing for the weekend, new this or that, vacation, etc.) I have recently been consciously trying to live in the moment more. To really soak it all up, to just enjoy life and breathe....you can't breathe for yesterday, you can't breathe for tomorrow, you can only breathe right now. And man it makes a difference!! I am just so in love with my little family. How can I make every moment count!? My goal for this year is to live in the now. A lot less TV and time wasting distractions and doing something every day to improve myself and/or my family.

Enough with my little thought for the day rant:)

My little girl has Tom and I wrapped around her little finger! And she knows it:) She is getting so dang smart, strong, and hilarious!! I love and savor her rare cuddles when she just lets me snuggle her and she lays her head on my shoulder
On Tuesday she got her very FIRST TOOTH!!!!!!! One day shy of 10 months!

She finally has some hair that I can do something with

She is pretty good at copy catting us at saying "whoa, oh, oh wow, mama, dada, yaya, uh oh"
She also will whip her head back and forth like she is saying no after she sees anyone do it...love her

I love her raspy, exhaling til she's wheezing laugh! And when she is laughing her jaw always goes to the side:)

She knows when she is being mischevious! She is starting to get into everything and when she is right in the middle of it she will look at you, raise an eyebrow and smirk! The ~~funniest~~ is when she stands up in the tub and says "uh oh" and then laughs!

She is still a really good sleeper (Once she turned 5.5 months, she just figured it out! Thankfully!) She still does a morning and afternoon nap and sleeps from about 9:00pm-8:30am. We have quite the night time routine, its kind of silly but she absolutely loves it. I won't go into detail, but it includes: singing, letting her pick her glow in the dark binkies off the lamp, lots of kisses, and Tom may or may not hiss while he chases us up the stairs til she laughs so hard she can't keep her binky in. She does this new thing where she sleeps with her legs tucked up under with her butt the air...you can kind of see it in the top picture.

This picture was taken because some man at Macey's came up to us and tickled her...she cried...then as he was walking away he asked if she was a boy or girl!? Really buddy? Not enough pink? He was older, but still...people are weird

Jade and I went up Monday morning to visit Sharice, Gregg, Luke and my Mom. And she was being pretty cute so of course I had to snap some pics!

Luke is soo dang cute and is just the best little baby!! It was nice to spend some time with them!

It is so good to see Sharice at home now and with her little man!! She is slowly but surely getting better and we are all counting our blessings everyday for that.
