Happy Birthday MOM!

Happy Birthday to this beautiful amazing woman!! (I love that this pic is right as Alyssa is about to spit up:) whoops.
We love you mom and you are seriously so amazingly awesome and we love you soooo much!

My dad planned getting the whole family together yesterday for mom's birthday to go to dinner at Olive Garden. And of course we ate way to much. And sadly, the birthday girl took this pic:(

And we finished off the night at Tasha and Roger's appartment playing games and eating birthday cake. This was a perfect action shot of the buzzer of catch phrase about to go off so Sharice is throwing it to Roger but he is dodging catching it so they don't loose a point and Gregg is just....a little nervous:) Needless to say the girls dominated!

Bring on 2011!

This past year was a good one! We have definitely been very very blessed in everything. Here are a few things of 2010 I can think of:
-I got hired on with Aveda in Feb and it has been awesome!
-Tom got a truck in March
-My first nephew Koleman was Born March 6!
-My sister Sharice got married April 8!
-Our 4 year anniversary in April!
-Conlan hit his 1yr mark on the mission in June
-Tom's brother Darren got married july 16
-My first neice Alyssa was born July 26!
-In Sept. Tom passed the IPSC exam that will hopefully lead to a job there someday!
-Went to Minneapolis in Oct for work, awesome!
-Tom's branch in Orem closed in Nov but he was given the same job in Salt Lake
-2 friends had babies- Welcome Hayden and Ryker!
-Tom got in a wreck in Dec (thank goodness he is ok!) and is looking forward to when his truck is repaired:)
-Overall a great year and with tons more stuff I can't think of right now...lots of family, friends, camping, dates, weekend trips, family events and work. I can't wait to see what this year brings!

Brent and Jenni had an awesome New Years Eve party with LOTS of food, games, friends! Almost everyone...everyone that was downstairs anyways at midnight! Our excellent hosts!! Playing NBA Jam...til 5 am....wow....really?! Me and Lashel came home around 2 but Tom and Trevor stayed at Brent's playin this game...sheesh! And this was our sad attempt to get a baby pic. But hey they are always cute On sat and sun we just bummed around with Trevor and Lashel and had an awesome weekend with them and we are soooo glad they came up to hang out with us! love you guys! Almost...come on...open... ....yes I got it! now reach!! Jovi loved cuddling with Lashel Doesn't Koleman look SOOO cute in the outfit we got him for Christmas!? They also taught me some sweet tricks for feeding and changing time:) On Saturday we did some shopping and ate at the always delicious Outback! We could not have spent this weekend any better:)

you have to watch this! Koleman is so freakin cute and sooo funny! He loved dancing to this song so we sang it like a million times! Needless to say it was stuck in my head for the next few days, which made me miss my little nephew even more!

Happy Christmas!

Every year there is a huge CHristmas Eve party at uncle Dave and aunt Dani Stylers house where all of Tom's extended family gets together and eats and catches up. It is something we look forward to every year

This year was a Miller Christmas so after the Styler christmas eve party we headed to the Miller party! It was so fun! My parents planned a whole bunch of games and snacks and movies! It was good times.

Conlan got to call home from his mission!! THat was definitely a highlight of Christmas day! It was sooooo good to hear from him and talk to him. He is doing so great! I love that kid and can't wait til he gets home in June! Here is my Mom talking to him! It was so cute as we took turns talking to him we couldn't stop smiling!

Christmas this year was soo good. We got to spend a lot of time with both families. We are so grateful this time of year when we can think about Christ's birth and His life and for all he has done for us. We are so blessed in our lives and everything we have in our lives is from him. I am grateful for all of our many friends and family and hope you all had a merry christmas!

Friday was the Aveda Institute Charity hair and makeup show and it was A LOT of work for everyone but it turned out soo great and we raised $1500 for the Utah Foster Care Foundation and the Love to Breath organization. Tom was a good sport and came to support me...I'm sure its not too difficult watching models on the runway either:)
Then afterwards we went to dinner with Kenzi and Nate, and Ashley and that was so fun, I love those guys!

On saturday night we went to Texas Roadhouse for Brittany's birthday and it was delicous!

On Sunday we had a party to celebrate a few things...
-Brady and Lindsay Wood moved away to Georgia for Brady to go to Physical Therapy school and we hadn't seen them forever or met their new baby Ryker. So we were so excited to see them while home for Christmas break:) Somehow I didn't get a pic of their little family together:(
-Brittany's birthday
-And Jeff's birthday
It was soo fun to have everyone over!

And the newest member of the group...Welcome Ryker! He is soo cute and so big! He was such a happy camper staying up late with us!

We did a little white elephant gift exchange game and shockingly, this hand crocheted, gold framed, green mat, WELCOME sign was not a hit...weird:) Zach and Stacy were thrilled to be going home with it. (they brought it and were hoping to get rid of it...I guess it was just meant to be)

Thanksgiving 2010

This Thanksgiving we spent with Tom's fam. We had dinner and spent the first half of the day with his mom Michelle and her husband Larry, and his sister's Kimberlie and Sadie.




There was tons of delicous food! We didn't even make a dent. Then we spent the afternoon napping and working on a Christmas puzzle. Which we completed!booya! Then Tom and I went to visit John & Kristan, my parents, and Tom's Dad. It was such a fun Thanksgiving and we loved spending time with all the family we could.


Tom is such a sweetie...he took a christmas tree and ornaments from his work that was going to get thrown out and we gave it to Tom's dad Kevin. Last year he only had like a pathetic two foot tree so we snuck over to his dad's house when he wasn't there and set it all up and decorated it for him to surprise him...It was so fun and he loved it!


Then we came back Friday afternoon and had such a good weekend together. We even made it to the temple, rented 3 movies, put up the christmas decor, and watched a Jazz game...perfect. Thanks babe!
On saturday I spent a few precious hours with one of my best friends from high school and it was sooo fun! love ya Jenny!
This Thanksgiving we have so much to be grateful for...we couldn't be more blessed. I hope everyone had an awesome Thanksgiving!
