Life is good

Prepare for a picture overload...

Last Friday night we went to a Utah Blaze game with my dad. The blaze is an indoor professional football league. My dad took the youth from his ward there for part of their youth conference and he had some extra tickets.

Thank you Blaze dancers for bringing our section creamies!!

It was pretty fun, the rules to arena football are crazy tho. Its only a 50 yard feild, and you can play it off the rebound nets, and many more strange rules that made it more entertaining:)

And if you're ever wondering what to wear to a Blaze game...something of this nature would be appropriate :)

Last saturday night we went out to eat at Iggy's for my friend Kenzi's birthday. We went with her and Nate, Ashley, and Lucy and Dave. We went miniature golfing afterwards which was VERY entertaining! I had pics but accidentally erased them...sad. Thanks for the invite Kenz!
And on Sunday I also forgot my camera when we had dinner with the Jone's at the Byrd's new house! They are so ambitious with remodeling that it makes me wish I did more with my house!

This weekend was soooo good!
ON Friday we went to Tom's little brother Darren's wedding at the Manti temple. It was such a good day with family and extended family. Tom and I also went to a temple session before the ceremony because we haven't been to one at the Manti temple, and man, it was sooooo beautiful.

Isn't this pic of Koleman and his grandpa Probst so priceless?!

I love this pic of Koleman!

Darren and Dani walking out of the temple

The whole familia :)

The boys and their papa :)

All the kiddies

The Styler boys and their momma :)

The Styler sister-in-law's... I love em!

All the girls

It was like pulling teeth but we got it!...a picture of the cute newlyweds kissing!!

The siblings decorating Darren's truck

Koleman and uncle Tom! And yes...Tom shaved his head...and yes...I actually like it

On Saturday we just hung out with Tom's family for the day

Tom opening his gifts from his mom

Me, Lashel, and Kimi doing...something?

On Sunday night we had a friend BBQ/Tom's birthday party. It was at the Jone's new, huge house! The Bunker's, Jone's, and the Byrd's were there (minus Jenni who got called in to work:( )
This is Tom so excited that I finally made his grandma Styler's birthday cake recipe that he has asked me to make every year...I finally did it and love it so I guess it will be a new tradition!

Brittany and Hayden!

This is the Byrd's son Bridger. It is so crazy that there are now several babies within the group of friends! I guess we really are growing up

Oh so handsome!

And on Monday was Tom's actual birthday and it was like the perfect day! He took the day off work so we could hang out. We went to the gym, dropped off his truck to get his windows tinted, went to Village Inn for breakfast, went to the movie Inception which was AMAZING, shopped for Tom at the mall, came home, took a 2hour nap, and then went to dinner at Outback Steakhouse with the Hunt's and the King's

For Tom's Birthday I got his truck windows tinted and this is what it looked like before.

And after...he loves it!

I'm so lucky to be married to such an amazing man. I love him more everyday. Happy Birthday Tom!

Happy 4th!

The 4th of July and Christmas are my favorite holidays! And there is no other place in the world that I would want to spend either besides Delta. (Well maybe an all-expenses paid 2 week cruise to any sort of island with Tom might give Delta a run for their money, but other than that!!! Delta it is!)
This year was as good as always! Friday night we went to the Styler annual party. We ate, visited all relatives, did fireworks for the millions of kids, and this year we didn't end up sleeping over in the backyard like we usually do but it was way fun anyway.

At the parade!!
All my fam was there except my little brother who is on a mission in TX. :( one more year

My amazing parents! Can you tell that my Dad is super enthused to be at the parade!

The newlyweds! Sharice and Gregg

Roger, Tasha and my niece that is almost here!! yay!

The kids of the cutest family in the world!!! Thanks to Uncle Dave and Aunt Dani for all their hard work to make the funnest family parties ever!

Koleman's lookin fly on the 4th of July!! (Dang! I am good!)

And it definitely wouldn't be a Delta parade without horses!

Trevor and Tom are having the time of their lives!!

My sister-in-laws

aw the Demolition Derby... definitely one of the highlights of the Delta celebration. We seriously love it!!

Happily baking in the sun in anticipation

The cars, trucks and mini cars before the were destroyed

Some of the action..

So if any of you are unlucky enough to never have seen a Demolition Derby, then I pity you... however all is not lost! Now is your chance to view just a small taste of the awesomeness! I hope you enjoy, there is a really sweet crash at the end!
e

After the derby we met up with Tom's fam to watch the fireworks with all the cousins, and ate Aunt Luann's famous caramel popcorn! Fun and Delicious, followed immediately by all of us getting soaked by the sprinklers that came on the second the grand finale ended! Thank you church sprinklers! Then we went to Tom's Dad's house and I fell asleep to Tom and Trevor singing along with every word to all the songs during Rigaletto! ha ha pretty hilarious! Then on Sunday we just hung out with Trevor, Lashel, Koleman, Sadie, Kevin, and Darren.
Then in the afternoon we went back to my parents and finished up our awesome, fun, and relaxing weekend with home made ice cream!

Marley and Jovi had a great weekend too! They got to hang out in my parents huge, beautiful, plush backyard with my parent's dog. While getting treats from my parents after every meal...man they have it tough.
Saying bye to grandma!

And on the ride home, Jovi made sure Tom knew where he was going

We live for the weekends!

So I haven't updated for a while but we are good and busy with life. Our jobs are going fine but we love our weekends!! And I don't know what has gotten into me to not take pictures! And then if I don't take pictures, I figure I shouldn't blog, cuz I know I only read the blog if they have pics...oh well...I will be better

Three weekends ago we went camping...see previous post ;)

Two weekends ago we went to Outback Steakhouse and bowling with Kenzi and Nate and it was so dang fun!
And the next day we went out to eat with my parents and Tasha...I know we are spoiled...eating out is like my favorite thing. So it was a good weekend with friends and fam

Last Friday night we went to Brent/Claudia's Big ole Birthday Bash! It was really really fun and who would have thought that a group of about 15 adults (well...21-26 yr olds) would enjoy watching America's Funniest Home Videos for so many episodes! HA Ha that was seriously the best! We had great food and great company!

Introducing....Martha and Betty! So last Saturday night the Jones came over and someone somehow started talking about crepes and how "Crepes are French for pancakes" I don't remember who it was either Jenni, but I think it was me who kept repeating that phrase the entire time we were making them...oops, my bad :) So me and Jenni decided to make them...Jenni insisted on the aprons so we would be legit.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm, wow, yum, amazing, delicious!

Jenni was the official flipper (tho I didn't get a picture of her in action :( ) And you can also see in the background what Brent and Tom were up to whilst we were slaving in the kitchen...loser nintendo...jk Tom

And I was the official mixer/scooper... and I was obviously far to busy to be bothered with getting a picture taken

Needless to say, the boys loved them too

And this past weekend I again failed to have my camera but we had game night at our house with the Fowlers and the Jones which is always fun.
On Saturday we went to The Bombay House with the Jess & Brady and Stefany & Dallas for Stef's birthday! It was so so so delicious! If you ever wanna try indian food, it is way good!
And on Sunday me and Tom...eat, Church, eat, lay around(nap), eat, lay around(TV), go on a walk with the dogs...perfect.
So nothing too exciting but I absolutely love having so much "Tom time" every weekend, I love being with him and I always get bummed at the start of a new work week cuz I get so spoiled to spend so much time with him all weekend...I love my man... We live for the weekends!
