April - May 2018

Easter Weekend was spent in Delta with Family!  We always have a great time down in D-town!

At 38 weeks pregnant we were invited to a neighborhood Couples Ping pong tournament and we totally won!! It was so much fun and great to get to know our neighbors better!

We went down to Koleman's baptism and Charley's baby blessing the first weekend of May!  I was a little nervous traveling this close to delivery but I'm glad we made it happen.  We had a great time with family and are so glad we could be there to support

May 15, 2018 BABY DAY!!!

Overall, labor and delivery went smoothly.  The Dr. broke my water and contractions came fast enough on their own without pitocin.  I got an epidural and it was wonderful!  We had a brief scare where they couldn't find her heartbeat and I don't think Tom and I ever let go of our fear that something would go wrong until she came screaming into this world!  We were both so overcome with emotion it was amazing.  I would relive the moments of her birth over and over again if I could. Such sweet relief.  She was here and healthy and a good baby from the start!

So happy and relieved she is here!!

My heart could burst Maycie Lu Styler.  We love you so much it hurts.

7lbs 11oz of perfection.

The whole time I was pregnant, Lainey kept asking if she could feed Maycie... and look at that smile when she finally got to!

Well life doesn't slow down when you have a baby!  We got home for the last day of school and Jade's Kindergarten graduation!

Maycie doesn't fix all the sadness and pain, but her light in our lives sure helps!  We are so grateful she is in our forever family.

Lainey went through a hating to get wet phase... she liked to be in charge of the hose but didn't want to get wet!  Lucky for her, Jade loves getting wet! Win- win!
