gOOD wEEKEND!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEPHANIE!
On Wednesday Stephanie invited me to go with her and all her friend's from highschool on their monthly girls day! It was so fun! All her friends are so cute and so fun and i'm so glad I got to meet them! We went to the Good Things Utah show! The pic below is us with the cast! It was really fun, then we went to the Olive Garden and then some shopping! Thanks Steph and friends for the greatday!

I know Steph will probably kill me but, she got a snuggie for her birthday so I had to get a pic, Snuggies all around!

On Thursday, her actual birthday, Cole called us up to go to dinner and surprise her.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!!!!

Man my dad is getting old!! ;) He turned 50 this weekend and my mom planned a surprise party for him. It was so fun, my whole fam, minus Roger and Conlan, and my dads past bishopric met at The Loft in Delta to surprise him!. If any of you know my dad, he does not like surprises or any attention on him, so it was so fun to be there for this! After dinner we went back to the house and watched the Jazz game. It was such a fun night. Thanks mom

PHEASANT HUNTING!!!

This year (being my first year at the pheasant hunt, even tho it is an annual thing and we have been married almost 4 yrs) I learned that there is nothing scarier or more fun than hunting with the Stylers! There were about twenty people with shot guns all running around shooting at pheasants that aren't always willing to leave the ground!! There were a few close calls but no human casualties, Thank Goodness! Tom did however get shot in the chin, but luckily it was far enough away that it just left a huge welt and barely broke the skin. I had a really funny video that Jason May filmed that shows him almost getting shot but it won't upload for some reason!!! sorry those that I promised I would post it. The day really was so fun tho, like it always is with the Styler side and thank you aunt Luann for the amazing chili and spudnuts! I'm so happy to have married in to such an awesome family. And now I understand why everyone gets together every year for the hunt. Great tradition!

This is all the carnage....and all the mighty hunters!!!! It was my first time and I actually shot one too (well thats what everyone told me, but I'm sure they were just trying to make me feel good) It was so fun!! I know its crazy that I grew up in Delta but had never been hunting!!! It was so fun, next year I might do it legally! ah... nothing like walking threw dusty fields with a shot gun and high heels (I didn't know the family was going to make me hunt too, but I'm sure glad they did)

On Friday at the hair school where I teach we had a halloween party and thanks to Stef I had something to wear! These are some of the girls(yes they are all girls.. tom was worried for a second!) and don't be offended by the girl on the far right.. ha ha it really was so funny!

On Halloween night Jeff and Claudia had a murder mystery dinner party!!! It was so fun! We were assigned costumes which made figuring out what to be much much easier! WE ate delicious taco soup and played games and had a ton of fun getting in to our characters and solving the murder mystery and just hanging out. Thanks again Hills!!!

The Byrds defineitely had the best costumes! Wow they both made everything! And looked amazing!!!

And we didn't dress up Jovi and Marley this year (I know I'm a slacker) but they are plenty cute without a costume!

Look what Tom got me for my birthday!!!!! Isn't she so cute?! She is also a mini schnauzer like Marley. We named her Jovi! She is so fun and I have always wanted 2 dogs so they can keep eachother company and Tom is the best and surprised me! This whole weekend has been awesome with my man Tom, a new dog, lots of friends, cake and ice cream tonight, and my sisters over tomorrow!

For my b-day Tom took me to my favorite restaurant in the whole world...Carrabas! MMMMM!

Ok this dessert was seriously the best dessert in the world, its called limoncello bread pudding, which sounds pretty gross but is incredible!!!!! It has a scoop of ice cream on top with like an apple stem (which Tom wanted to eat, but I swiftly put a stop to that.) :)

Yes, I did buy my dogs snuggies! Ha ha they are so funny! Marley is so funny to watch wearing it. He doesn't know how to function with it on, he just freezes and looks at me like, "why are you doing this to me."

We decided to take our dogs to Salem Pond today. It was such a nice day! Spring and Fall are defineitely my favorite seasons

Last weekend we had our monthly craft night! I know, how old do we sound! But it really is so fun! Its a good chance for us ladies to hang out together and the boys to hang out together. And its good for me to be crafty, I swear I have done more crafty things since we started doing this than I have in my whole life. In the pic, we are just stitching away! We are attempting to make those cute shirts with the ruffles along the neckline. Here are the boys playing some poker. As you can tell by the pennies, their games are high stakes.!

This is us ladies (me, Jenni, Stephanie, and Brittany) modeling the finished products. I think they turned out pretty good! But I'm not gonna lie, I'm kinda scared to wear it! My ruffles turned out a little too large and overwhelming! ha ha we'll see. But at least it was fun making it.

This is Tom "watching" General Conference saturday afternoon. I'm sure he is just absorbing the information better this way right? :) ha ha kinda like hypnotism I'm sure.

Saturday night was definitely a good one! Dallas and Heather Valerio came by to visit, they recently moved to Richfield so it was so so good to see them! And we got to meet their gorgeous new baby boy Brayden! And the Hunts, Bunkers, and Jones came over too! It was really fun! I love having people over to our house.

This is Dallas and Heather's 4 yr old Breanna. She is so dang cute and funny! She was not afraid to just rip some serious farts (right when it gets pretty quiet) and just laugh about it! So funny. And she saw how Marley and Sadie (Stef's dog) were getting treats for doing tricks so she started acting like a dog so she could get treats too! She is so cute!

Then of course we finished off the night playing games! And around midnight we really wanted some better games so Brent and Jenni and Tom and I went to walmart and got some new games and then played until 4:00 am. It was really fun! Around 3 am everything starts to be really funny!
