Swimming, Blue October, and Camping

How can I enforce bedtime when they are having a dance party?
I'm sure all Summer long, my posts will be water posts....

We had the Collette girls over to play!....

We were invited to go to the Provo Rec. Center with the Lontines!...

Jade and Anna are such cute little friends

Last weekend was AWESOME!
It started out with our date with the Fowlers on Thursday night.  We bought Blue October concert tickets clear back in January when they went on sale as part of Tom's Christmas....and it finally came!  We have been fans for a good 10 years +.  Tom is a die hard fan that truly appreciates their music and all the meaning behind every song.
It was such a blast!  We went to dinner at GoodWood before and then went to The Depot for the show.  I'm not a huge concert type of person but I LOVED IT!  We have been reliving it daily over the past week.  AWWW it was a good time with my love enjoying good music and good friends!
Lots of selfies haha....

Tom took Friday off and we got all packed up to go to our annual CAMPING TRIP with our friends.   Jade had been counting down the hours until we left for DAYS!!
We missed the Jones family terribly though and it just wasn't the same without them.  Poor Swayzie had complications from her head surgery (to close up her soft spots that were surgically opened up when discovered that they had closed prematurally at 9 months old) done 2 weeks prior, and was having pressure on the brain.  She had to have a drain put in and is now having to have surgery to make her skull bigger... I will give more details later.... but they were definitely missed and prayed for during camping.

These pictures are in random order...

The Gouldings took the older kids Geocaching!  They loved searching for "treasure!"  It was so fun watching their excitement as we would get closer to the coordinates!
The caches we found were perfect for the kids with junky toys in them that were like gold to them!

On Saturday morning Stephanie put together a competition to "celebrate" embarrass the men since it was Father's Day weekend.  The competition was sooo funny and the men were mostly good sports!

Who can pull an entire box of tissues out one-by-one the fastest with only one hand....
Who can shake their heads the most times in 30 seconds...
Who can transfer M&M's to the empty bowl using only a straw....
Who can get an Oreo from their forehead to their mouth using only their facial muscles....
Isn't Steph the cutest host ever!  Passing out treats to the spectators in between rounds...
Who can get all the ping pong balls out of their tissue box first by shaking that booty!....
Who can chug their Mt. Dew fastest.... Cole crushed it hahaha!
Tom was the winner of the Manly Competition and scored an awesome prize bucket!  Thank you Steph!

That afternoon we went to the Lake!...
The Gouldings brought their Kayaks and the Fowlers brought a paddle board to play on

When we got back we had fun shooting water beads!  It was awesome, the kids and adults were loving it!  I didn't get many pictures because I was in battle haha

LOTS of one-wheeling going on throughout the weekend.  The boys went on a late moonlight one-wheel adventure at the Lake and when we ask what they were up to they said "what happens while camping, stays at camping" hahaha
Most of the camping crew!  This was Saturday night and Blake and Annie's family had already left.
Double fisting the Rootbeer that she finally got her hands on...
Sweetest Teigen!
We made T-shirts again, and Brittany nailed it on the T-shirts design this year!  They say Happy Camper
These pictures of Lainey and Kendra crack me up because try as I did, I couldn't get a smile or even a reaction from Kendra!... I have like 10 more like this....

Sunday morning... packing up... the worst part ...
Lainey was a chipper little helper though...with Oreo teeth!
Camping is a ton of work, especially with kids but it is always sooooo worth it to get out in nature with good company and disconnect from technology and day-to-day life!  It was a blast!

Oh Laine!

Yesterday we went to the pool with the Bunkers!

And last night our sweet elderly neighbor called us (yes called on the phone like the good old days:) ) and invited us to come pick some cherries!  So cute!  The girls loved it.
And Jade's outfit was obviously on point haha
