WE love our handsome child.!This is in my parents back yard on sunday. sorry its out of order! I'm still learning how to blog. and don't judge my no makeup...its sunday!

Tom nearly burned down Spanish Fork Canyon, but don't worry, all is well. We brought pallets to burn and he decided to keep stacking them on the there! The fire got so big and so hot we had to stand like 25 ft away! Oh Tommy I love ya

We went camping with the Jones on Friday night! We missed our other friends that couldn't make it. We had good talks, Jenni cracking me up, fun games, good food, and good weather...what could be better.! I love camping. Thanks Brent and Jenni!

ABSOLUTE BLISS FOR MARLEY

The canyon is so pretty and the leaves are starting to change! On the way down the canyon these magenta leaves were so vibrant we begged our husbands to grab some for us. They did have to scale the steep mountain side but they got them.

On Saturday we drove down to Delta to celebrate Trevor and Kimberlie's birthdays! It was fun to have the family together for dinner. Kinda sad but Trev and Kimi did most of the cooking and it was their birthdays! thanks guys. It was good to hang out with Tom's fam for the day.

Me and my sister-in-laws. We decided to make Halloween dresses! aren't they cute!?

Just teasing. They are wall quilt decorations! but not finished yet! It was fun for us to sew them with grandma Probst and Michelle. Thanks momma michelle!

And on early sunday we went to hang out with Tom's dad! It was so fun he showed us around his orchard insisting we try 2or3 of each fruit. It was so good! Marley loved running around in Oak city chasing chickens, cats, and playing with Koda. But I didn't have my camera. Then we went down to Delta to visit my parents. They showed us all their amazing pictures from their New York City trip! It looked so amazing! I wanna go back there sometime soon! I'm so happy that my parents took such an awesome trip.

My parents sitting around the firepit with us while we made some amazing peach cobbler.
And those of you who have known me since at least 4th grade will recognize Carmel! This dog I got when I was 10yrs old! yep he is still alive! My parents take great care of him now.

September 11th

I was just thinking that I can't believe that it has seriously been 8 years since September 11, 2001. I can remember (as I'm sure most of you can) exactly how most of it all took place. When : I was a freshman in high school
Where: I was in my room getting ready for school, putting on my makeup and listening to the radio like I always did, when they interrupted saying one of the Twin Towers were on fire. I didn't really think much of it because I didn't even know what the Twin Towers were. So I kept getting ready but as the people on the radio just kept going on and on about it I realized that this must be a big deal but for some reason I was just picturing some sort of big tower, not a tower with thousands of people in it. So as I was on my way down the hallway to get some breakfast I decided to stop by my mom's room to tell her. So I casually said, "Mom, on the radio they are saying one of the Twin Towers is on fire." I remember her turning around to look at me and her scared look and her saying, "What?" Then she walked past me and turned on the TV. And there it was, on almost every channel, the Twin Tower burning. And at first, no one knew it was an airplane that hit the building, everyone kept saying an "explosion". When I realized what the towers were, I completely understood the extent of all this. We sat in her room watching the TV for a while and then we saw the 2nd tower get hit by the plane!!! I was in shock! And I think it was then that everyone realized it wasn't a fluke, that it was an attack. My mom covered her mouth and kept saying, "oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh" I remember being so scared! Seeing people on the streets running, people jumping from the buildings. They closed all the airports down. I finished getting ready for school, and that day at school was like no other. In the hallways it was all everyone was talking about kind of hushed. In every class all day long we watched the news and all the new information. I remember seeing the towers fall one by one and thinking oh my gosh so many people are dying. And the cloud of smoke and the footage from people at ground zero looked like it was from a movie. I kept thinking, "this can't be happening." Then the plane hit the pentagon. And then the plane that was headed for the white house and crashed in the field. No one knew where the next attack would be. It really was so crazy and sureal. I had a couple teachers get emotional. I felt helpless, thinking "people can really just attack us like that? How did no one know? What if a plane crashes down in Delta next? Do we really just go home from school and act like nothing is going on? Will life ever be the same?" I remember my parents telling me that this day will be in your history books. That I will tell my kids about it, and I'm sure I will. The news continued for months and the number of deaths kept rising. It was a horrible day for America. I'm so thankful for those that serve our country. And I'm so grateful that we live in this wonderful country. I was told that I would never forget Sep. 11, 2001, where I was, what I was doing etc.- and i haven't. My parents were in New York City this last week on September 11, and I can't wait to hear what it was like.

Swiss Days!

Wishin we were kids again!

We had an awesome weekend! We saw all of Tom's family (except kimi :( ). Trevor and Lashel stayed with us a couple days! And tom's dad came by for dinner, and we saw everyone else at Swiss Days! Horray for long weekends!

We camped out in the yard. ours, Trevs, and Johns. Good times

I love going shopping at Swiss Days with girls! This is Kristan's sister Minnie, Kristan, me, Lashel. I have the best sister-in-laws ever. They always make me laugh so much!

Tom's Grandpa Probst has a freakin amazing garden! Onions the size of cantaloupe, cabbages bigger than basketballs, turnips as big as volleyballs, and carrots as big as tom's forearm! Crazy! That soil up in Midway is defineitely God's soil. G-pa Probst says his secret is "to plant, pray and give half away" he definitely gave us a big bag full!

Some People I Love

Sadie and a giant colrobbi out of g-pa Probsts garden!

I love Swiss Days every year cuz we get to hang out with Tom's Mom's side of the fam who are from Midway, ut. If anyone hasn't been to swiss days you should! Unless of course, you are very claustrophobic and/or hate spending money. It is a giant event with a ton of people and a ton of vendors selling crafts, food, artwork, and even a $32,000 giant metal horse which I of course picked up for our front yard. ha! crazy!

This is the cute little creek that is right by where the Probst Family reunion is every year

girl's craft night/ boy's poker night

We had our monthly-ish craft night a week ago and we tryed painting canvas boards! (Well me, Jenni and Claudia did. Brittany and Steph had other crafts to work on! ) Considering we did it out side pretty much in the dark while getting eaten by mosquitos, I think they all turned out all right! It was fun! I always love getting a chance to hang out with the girls and I know the guys had fun playing penny poker too.
This is how mine turned out. I'm pretty proud of it ha ha!
