Thanksgiving & snow!

First are some random pictures I had forgotten about but they are too cute to pass up...

So I'm horrible at waiting for Christmas, birthdays, and any holiday gift giving in general...so we caved (I begged and Tom complied) and gave Jade a christmas present early a couple weeks ago and her face was priceless!!!  She would just stare back and forth from Minnie to Daisy and had a death grip on them for hours!  Definitely a successful purchase, she loves them and plays with them ALL THE TIME.

 We also had our first Utah Jazz party of the season and it was of course a good time/ good excuse to eat junk food and catch up with friends!  The kids loved running laps in the kitchen!

 Jade, for the most part, LOVES Nursery!  And while I'm running around in the halls doing stuff for primary I love to peek in at her playing :)  My favorite is when they are all sitting around the table -during snack time or coloring - acting like big kids.  It just melts my heart!  And I happened to have my phone with me at church so I snapped a pic

 And this is just a cute picture of her playing outside, enjoying the last of the warm-ish weather!

This year for Thanksgiving we went to Tasha and Roger's house up in Kearns!  It was a lot of fun and helpful for them to not have to travel with the twins coming very soon!  We also killed 3 birds with 1 stone-  we celebrated Thanksgiving, Christmas, and a baby shower for Tasha!

We did family pictures first thing and man, Jade was not having any of it!  Sorry mom that she was so uncooperative!  So these are the best ones we got.

 You can tell by this picture of all the son-in-laws, that Jade was just over it haha!

 Then we opened Christmas presents!

 Then we started the cooking!  We all brought stuff for the meal to prepare, which I loved!  And while we waited, we played some nintendo and Jade and Alyssa loved playing in her room!

 Dinner time!!

 After dinner we had a surprise coming for Tasha!  She had no idea my mom, Sharice and I had planned a surprise shower for her!  So we had the boys distract her downstairs while we cleaned the kitchen and set up the decorations.

I think we nailed the surprise haha!

 The men joined us and we played some baby shower games and she opened her presents! 

The rest of the day we just relaxed, played outside, and played Wizard!

 

Thanks for the fun day Miller Family!  We love you all and are glad we have got to spend so much time together lately:)

So we got our first snow and we were ready to roll!  Jade got to try out all her snow gear and she had a blast!  She was so hilarious!  She couldn't quite figure it out at first, but soon she was throwing it, eating it, and singing to it!
